Hi parents! I received this message below from the Meet Director. So far, we have 2 parent volunteers. One who will time and the other who has asked to do ribbons. If there are two more of you that could help with any role listed below, please let me know! They will provide training to all parent volunteers! We would love to see this meet happen!

Great news, we have 70 swimmers attending the meet this weekend! It’s been a long time since we have had a September meet which goes to show how hard all of you have been working on your teams.

The bad news is we currently do not have enough staff/volunteers to hold the meet. I have listed below the critical positions we need to make this meet happen. Without these roles filled we will not be able to hold a successful meet.

*1 Head Timer – this can be a parent but sometimes it’s hard to find all your regular timers AND a head timer so if we can get this role filled it would be helpful.

*1 Starter

*1 Stroke and Turn

8 Regular Timers (typically volunteers/parents)

*These roles need to be filled by Friday September 18, 12 noon. If they are not filled by this date/time, we will need to re-evaluate whether or not we can still deliver a successful meet. This includes possible cancellation of this meet. We do not want to have 70 swimmers warmed up and ready to go and realize we don’t have one of these critical positions filled. At that point, we would have a real mess on our hands.
